No posts for a day or so!

The cookies have overflowed the freezer, (oh yeah, and the coffee cake)

the presents are wrapped,

and the knitting bag is packed.

I wish you all peace, joy, and really nice yarn this holiday season.

Hey Julie

Well done. That all looks fabulous. Hope you, the husbeast and the baby all have a safe and lovely Christmas!

Huh? What? Wait!!! I have a question! No wait, I need something blocked! Hold on, hold on, do these two colors look OK together? Will this steak knife work for the Eek-A-Long? Don't forget to pack The Baby! Who's looking after Sekhmet? When are you coming back?!? Is the Husbeast going? Who's going to protect our borders while he's away?

Oh this is scary. Very scary.

Is there a number in Ohio in case I need to do a provisional cast-on???

April, I'm feeling the same degree of panic. Thank God Julie has net access in Ohio.....I might be having palpitations otherwise. ;-)

And, and, *what* is that knitting book in the knitting bag? The blue one with the lace pattern on the edge?

BTW, "Salt", "Cod", & "A Basque History of the World" are waiting for me at the library, & we know whose fault that is . . . :)

The book in my knitting bag (there are two, actually) is the first treasury of knitting patterns from Barbara Walker. I've got the second one with me, too. I'm knitting lace swatches for my next Knitty article.
