Sekhmet, you fucker.

That's yarn in six-foot long skeins, waiting for the dye pot, that she's laying on.

Heh. I've caught my cat lying on unspun fibre so very many times! I don't keep it where he can find it any more

This is why I love dogs. The dog would never climb on the back of the couch and lay on the yarn. Of course, at 100 lbs and 12 years, I don't think he could MAKE the back of the couch...

Remember that old Bill Cosby skit, where he thought his name was Jesus Christ and his brother was goddammit until he was like 10 years old... "Goddammit, son..." "But dad, I'm Jesus Christ!"

You know that cat is starting to think her entire name is Sekhmetufucker.

She's keeping it warm for you! Plus she knows you love those extra cat hairs...

My dog, unfortunately, is still likely to lie on fibre, and particularly loves prefer half-finished projects... but she is a chihuahua, ie the-dog-you're-having-when-you're-not-having-a-cat
