I did it in just under 24. I just came out of a computer-less hibernation. I wanted to finish it before I heard anything about it from anywhere else.
I'm ALSO on a knitting break, since all my yarn is in the attic getting hot. I saw one moth that MIGHT have been wooly but perhaps wasn't. Still. Can't be too careful. Luckily the yarn quarantine coincided with the HP release.
PS I think skipping the state fair sounds like an incredibly sane idea.
I stayed up until 3:30 this morning. I just got up, and I'm tired.
Skipping the fair is a brilliant idea. Knitting's probably the only thing I can have total control over what I choose to make (or not.) Might explain all the things I abandon when I get bored.
I'm currently a stay at home mother, freelance writing on my off time, wondering how I became part of the ten thousand year old tradition of raising the kids while creating textiles.
I grew up in NE Ohio dairy country, married a sailor, lived in Hawaii ten years, lived in SC for five years, then moved back to culture shock and confusion.
Nothing but good times ahead.
