I will keep blogging. From what I've seen so far, Ravelry is a great resource for people who use their blogs to keep track of what they're knitting, and will probably take the place of many of those types of blogs. (This is in no way meant as criticism. I use my blog that way too, and if it's ALL I used it for, I'd dump it like a hot rock and just use Ravelry.) However. I use my blog for a lot of other stuff, not the least for keeping my writing skills ticking along while I vegetate at home with the Goober. (Though, now that I think on it, this writing style is hardly going to get me an A the next time I'm called upon to write a research paper.) It wasn't until I started keeping it, that I realized how useful it was. Do you realize thanks to my obsessive detailing of the cookie-baking mania last year, I can now figure out what someone is talking about when they say "bake those macaroon things again" ?
Anyway. I'm not gonna disappear. I promise. Really. If the gym didn't do me in, nothing will. Believe me, the gym has been a BIG lifestyle change for me. An hour a day spent exercising and driving to and from the gym... Who'd have thought I would ever see the day??
Oh, and my knees are doing way better. Marked improvement every day, except for the road rash on my right knee, and even it is slowly improving. I'll probably be back to working out tomorrow. Have I mentioned that Friday I see my doctor for a torn rotator cuff? If it isn't one thing, it's the same thing, over again.
