So much for that willpower thing.

Scarves? Feh.

That's the start of the Baby Surprise Jacket from "The Opinionated Knitter" by EZ. I'm using Dale of Norway's "Baby Ull" and the blue and pink yarn I dyed last week. I hope I don't run out.

I wonder how long I can put off doing these scarves, and still get them done? (Have I mentioned I need them done by the middle of December because we're going to Ohio early?)

I'm also re-inventing the wheel and tweaking the design on the Geometric Star jacket. I don't like how the centers of the stars look, and I don't like the fit. So I'm changing it. And I'm not putting ribbing on the waist, either. And the collar needs fixed. And...

But ... where's The Baby?

Willpower is for losers. Do what you want.

And it's been seriously too long since we had a baby photo. Did you eat her or something? I can't find any other explanation for the lack of a photo.

Maybe you want to start baking some cookies or something? You know, just in case...

bells is so nice...I would have used a different word about willpower... and you know what would make an awesome gift? a felted cell phone cover...what would that take, like 15 minutes? And, get this, you FELT THE MOHAIR WITH THE WOOL...and then you'd have this little furry thing like a mutant mouse, and if you put a spring in it, it could, like, jump out of the box and scare the mouse droppings out of people... And you wouldn't have to see the mohair any more! (I'm sorry...I'm so sleep deprived right now that I can't tell if that's mildly amusing, a little weird, or totally deranged. But no guilt about the scarves--I mean, that baby jacket is going to be so fun to watch happen, you need to think about those of us who read your blog!)
