For any weavers or spinners reading.

I caught another show on KV 63 last night. (You know, the tomb they discovered in the Valley of the Kings this year.) One of the coffins they opened contained a bunch of textiles, including some linen pillows woven at 40 threads per centimeter, or, what, 85 threads per inch? The thread would have been wet-spun on a spindle, and then woven on a horizontal rigid heddle loom. The mind reels.
