Heh heh heh.

Some poor schlep just called here from the Air Force base, asking about my experiences at their medical facility. Kind of a quality control thing.

Heh heh heh.

ETA: I was quite nice to the lady on the phone. After all, it was a reasonable hour and she even asked if it was a convenient time. I said nice things about quite a few people - the appointments clerk for getting me in so fast Friday, Dr. T for being kind and working his magic, his nurses for taking good care of me (migraines make me photosensitive, and when the nurses realized that, they turned out the lights and took my vitals and stuff in the dark). I also said the lab and x-ray have a really good get-the-job-done groove going on, where no one seems rushed but the only time I've ever had to wait on them was when they were with other patients- and even then I didn't wait long and they let me know they'd be with me soon.

Of course I also gave them the history of my appointments with the idiot doctor who cut me off my migraine meds and left me to suffer. The terms "disgrace" and "violation of Hippocratic Oath" and "almost put me in an emergency room" were used. I also said if that doctor had so much as cracked my medical records and leafed through them, I'd eat a copy. All three folders' worth.

I think the point was made.

Glad I'm not him today! did he have a better experience than the guy who rang 100 times?

Now, everybody cross their fingers that something actually *happens* as a result of this call. :)

I have been known under stress to pick up phones and yell 'Fuck off!'

Perhaps this would have been a good strategy for you?
