Speaking of books...

Would you guys be interested in me making a couple lists of books, like books suggested for beginners, books suggested for people thinking about design, people interested in XYZ, and then linking to them in the sidebar?

I would love that! I'm not a big book buyer (try not to faint, dude, deep breaths) so when I do purchase I want something that meets my needs--so a list would rock my small world!

I'm slowly building a knitting library, but hints on what books to look for would be wonderful

As a fairly new knitter, I don't have much (read NONE) of a library. I'd LOVE to have lists like that. Maybe someday I could even contribute a few rave faves.

What category would Vogue Knitting go in? What to knit if you're on crack?

Yes, that's a good idea.

would love to hear what you like but all in one area. I read your book reviews and think "I'm gonna have to get me that one soon" but then forget by the time I go to order.

i second what Catie said. If I can't afford to buy something cool that you've reviewed at the time, i forget. Links please!

Yes. Books are good. Lists are good. The two together are excellent.

Lessee...you do the work and the evaluation, and I get to play with the computer...

There is no downside...

I could add a list of my helpful/favorite books if needed. Not that I have a huge library. But I am a self-taught by books, knitter. LOL!

That would be great! I recently did a search of your blog after scoring several books at a library book sale. I had to find out if they were any good, after all.
