Unfortunately, I'm really sick of it. Really. Sick. I'm thinking perhaps an article instead (I do this so often), maybe about lace basics? What's hard, what's not, how to identify a good project, etc?
Anyone have thoughts on that?

Lace basics sounds good...that kind of knitting is all the rage right now. Or maybe how to choose yarn for lace projects?
A lace article sounds good, but aren't you near the end of whatever-this is?
I would love an article on lace basics. I consider myself an adavanced knitters, but a beginner lace knitter, so I would love it!

I'd love a guide for which lace projects to do...I've bought some lace-weight recently, but I'm reluctant to start--it takes me so long to complete a pair of socks right now, I've got fears of being stuck with the same yarn for a year...
how to choose a first lace project - or how to determine the true difficulty level of a project. ditto with boston about the end is in sight. If you do do the lace thing - a list of good lace books at the end of the article - say in the form of a reference list - would be awesome
