Good news, bad news...

The swift finally got here and I love it more than the cat. Okay. Okay. As much as the cat. When she's not laying on my chest. Maybe. Photos tomorrow when I'm not having a cat-hair induced asthma attack.

The bad news, Etsy is not happy tonight and as of now, I can't get my yarns posted for sale. I'll try again tomorrow and hopefully get it posted during lower-traffic time.

Oh, more good news -- I just did a double batch of easter egg circle rainbow sock yarn. It's a little more pastel than the first batch, but the colors are more even.

...where'd I put the damn inhaler? (Oh, and bad news, when I use the damn inhaler my hands shake too bad to knit. Grrr.)

Bad Sekhmet--she really is the Goddess of Destruction, isn't she? (But I can't wait to see pictures of Sekhmet and The Swift.)

I just got an umbrella swift and my cats seem very very facinated with it while it is in use, and interested in a manner that can only foreshadow scary stuff

Albuterol inhaler, right?
I HATE that Albuterol and the shakes from it but breathing is kind of essential *sigh*

But isn't that first breath of air wonderful?! Two years ago I came up allergic to straight Abuterol and now I have Combivent. Let's see how long that lasts shall we?

Julie-I meant to get back to you sooner but life has been very hectic in bad ways with a family situation. Also, bless you. The bright yarn really helped just by being there unexpectedly when we picked up the mail yesterday after a very long week and weekend. I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to you. May I email you to straighten out how much I owe you?

Swift = good!

I have a question regarding crock pots. What I know as a crock pot (large earthenware cooking pot with lid, no electrical wire whatsoever, goes in the oven) doesn't seem to match what you know as a crock pot. I assume its an electrical kitchen appliance that plugs in and heats the contents to a certain temperature and keeps it there until you turn it off? If so I know that as a slow cooker, aha and can borrow one from my mother (she doesn't know this bit yet).

Oh, and last night I saw the programme about clovis people and will write it up tonight for you. check the blog tomorrow.

I definitely see some new yarn at Etsy now!
I'm a day and 3 posts late, but LOVED the VK review. I almost wish they had NOTHING worthwhile, but then they throw in that sock section or some such and I get sucked back in!

for better or for worse, I can tell y'all that the technoblah type of sock yarn, wool, frogs quite well (argh at the need to frog though - twice and it still looks good to me)

Yup, Albuterol, but I'll ask the doc about the different kind and see what she thinks.

Jester (or anyone else), you can e-mail me at JTheaker@sc.rr.com
