Well, hell.

There will be a slight pause in our knit-along as I deal with the lung snot from hell. I wanted to soldier on through it, but I'm to the point where I can't think straight, and that does nothing for my tech-writing skills.

Maybe this will give more folks a chance to get organized and join in.

With luck I'll be back in a day or two, this time able to string together a coherent sentence.

Sorry!

Just give in to the dark side of the snot. Trying to fight it just makes the virus angrier, and more vicious. Trust me on this.

Zinc, C, echinacea tea if it doesn't conflict with your meds. Make sure any tea is made with LEAF, not flower. The good stuff is in the leaf.

Hope you feel better soon:( Rest well, take plenty of liquids. I'm sure you know the drill.

Well, not good that you're sick, but good because I still haven't even gotten the yarn down from where it is currently living, nor even thought about winding it into a useful form.

Feel better soon. We'll be here when you have time.

Don't fret. We will be ok. I just hope that you have a speedy recovery. I hope the Goober is ok too. We love reading about The Goob. What a sweetheart. I have the curly hair like she has so I understand her crazy hair days. :-)

Get better. Be gentle with yourself and rest.
I did get my 6"X6" swatch knitted with the fringe and all. My 9 yr. old was sure I was making a doll blanket for her.

I have my other sweater I am trying to finish so plenty to do here.
Hugs

Hope you are feeling better soon! My last bout with upper respiratory goo (why do they call it upper respiratory when I am coughing up lung lining?) the nurse practionier suggested Pelargonium sidoides. NIH published positive results from a recent study. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18005909

the preparation I had was from the health food store, umcka cold and flu in the orange flavor. Surprised at how palatable it was. And I did begin feeling better a lot sooner than I anticipated. Just something for you to consider.

It must be coincidence that the grocery store is having a "twofer" sale on clorox and lysol wipes.

Be Well

The husbeast should know better than to bring his germs home. You are the perfect incubator.
