My cat will leave me alone until I have the laptop on my lap. Then he suddenly has to have attention and will rub all over the computer until it moves out of his way.
Brains the size of walnuts.
Hope the Goober is feeling better. The weather is too nice today to be sick.
Hmm, Durwood's the same. If I'm busy doing housework, he ignores me (and doesn't offer to help). When I sit down to knit and listen to a book on CD on the Touch, then he talks. And talks and talks. So my husband is like a cat?? Nope. He's more like a Labrador Retriever, but still got that pet/kid annoying knack for intruding in a woman's relaxation. *sigh* Guess I'll keep him, he's too beloved to toss out.
Can't you read that look? she's saying, "The bald kitten is not well and it worries me. I want you to drop what you are doing, comfort me, then make the bald kitten well, then comfort me, then feed me, then comfort me some more. With more food."
I'm currently a stay at home mother, freelance writing on my off time, wondering how I became part of the ten thousand year old tradition of raising the kids while creating textiles.
I grew up in NE Ohio dairy country, married a sailor, lived in Hawaii ten years, lived in SC for five years, then moved back to culture shock and confusion.
Nothing but good times ahead.

The felines we have lived with have been far more demanding than any canine!
She wants a bedtime story! With catnip and fishes and sunbeams and the souls of the unbelievers.
