Right, blogging!

Okay! Look at me! Blogging, right here!

Srsly, trying to get back in the habit, so I'm writing this post for my own butt-kick. Not to actually accomplish anything.

I was feeling pretty good early this morning, having canceled a PT appointment due to weather. So I saved a bunch of red carpet photos from the Golden Globes, thinking I'd do some kind of fashion post. Before I could get to it, the Goob went on a serious tear and a bunch of other crap stressed me out, and I gave up on it. Then later I almost wrote a blog post about pine nuts, to the point I actually researched a bit (didja know there's more than one species?) but by then I was just too out of steam and I'm done. Stick a fork in me.

If my hand quits hurting - I give it fifty-fifty odds - I'm going to go back to knitting this Cat Bordhi sock pattern (um, Jeweled Steps, pretty sure; too tired to look it up). I screwed it up earlier but I'm at the "fuck it, close enough" stage.

But, hey, I blogged! Sorta.

You soitainly did. I love any blogging you do, you don't have to have an official subject, just ramble.

Sounds like the Goob needs to go outside and run around in the snow for an hour. Time for snowpants and boots. Let her make snow angels and tromp around, great for bleeding off energy.

I love pine nuts. Just out of the packet into my hand - or straight into my mouth.

Hope the hand pain falls on the right side of the 50/50.

Pine nuts toasted and in the cheesy/eggy bit of spinach and ricotta cannelloni is absolutely wonderful! Looking forward to the info now.
