Nose to the grindstone.

I'm still at the VK review. Due to many requests, I'm doing another review with lines drawn over the models to show how they're 'working' the clothes. That means lots more time spent, both with the pictures and with the writing.

In the mean time, here's a picture of a Venus Flytrap the Goober drew for me.

I scanned it while I was scanning the rest of the VK review. The Goober found the concept of taking a piece of paper and turning it into pixels quite fascinating.

Can you tell she's being raised by a plant freak? Hahaha.

That's so awesome... And scanning it into pixels is a lot neater than papering your kitchen with it... which i our plan right now.

"Working the clothes"...I don't know what's with the concept being used today with models, but it's everywhere, not just Vogue. Someone warned me long long ago (before kids) to beware of clothing displayed on a twisted body, that there was likely a flaw being concealed. Well, by that standard, most of the clothing in catalogs is concealing major flaws.

Of course the goob is awesome.

Outstanding picture of a Venus Flytrap! What's not to love about a plant that eats bugs?

I look at pictures in knitting mags different since your reviews. You rock!
