Sekhmet, you fucker.

That is my cat, licking a menthol-soaked bandage stuck to my bum wrist. I wouldn't mind, except:

1. She is following me EVERYWHERE and climbing all over me to get to it, and

2. SHE IS LICKING THE THING RIGHT OFF MY ARM.

I assume there was catnip used to make this thing; it's a cheap Target version of the IcyHot one (which has never gotten a reaction like this). Catnip is a mint, and mints have menthol in them.

Either that, or she's just a fucker. Can't rule that out.

Or she's just horny for you... don't rule that out either... (My cats get that way about my friend's shoes...)

Yep, my cat is immune to catnip but let me get out the IcyHot type stuff and he would lick it out of the container if I let him.

My cats are both like that with my hair especially when it is still damp from being washed. TheV climb on the back of the couch so they can get to it.

I used to have a dog who would do that whenever I used a particular hairspray. She would try to climb into my lap to get at my hair whenever I sat down on the couch (this was a greyhound/doberman mix, so she was about 55 lbs.). I had to switch brands if I wanted to retain any hair at all.

Hahahahahahahahahaha --

That's excellent. Stoned kitty.

I'd go with the second option. :) My cat is crazy for catnip, but couldn't possibly care less that I have a couple of planters of various mints in the house. I finally had to move the pot of catnip outside to get him to quit eating it.

She's an odd one, allright. Any bad cat effects from all those drugs? give her a bandage of her own and she'll leave yours alone?

Or maybe she is trying to free you from the nasty thing.

I've known cats to lick the discarded wrappers from spearmint gum, and I have a peppermint-scented shampoo that makes my cat attack my head...

She loves you, or at least your wrist patch. Certain smells make Claire act like that too. Wet wool, certain brands of shampoo make her go after my hair.

I'm waiting to see how the Goob jazzes up those boxes.

Our one cat goes apeshit for mineral ice - it's disgusting. When I have to rub it on the hub's aches and pains, I have to lock the cat out of the room.
