I have the latest copy of Vogue Knitting, FINALLY, and am getting on with a review forthwith. Hopefully tomorrow; I don't intend to draw all over these pictures like I did last time, but there are a few with Stuff That Needs Circled. In Red.
I agree with Luneray - nothing in this issue that I can't live without. I'm fortunate (I guess?) that my library gets Vogue Knitting, so I can look through it and don't EVER have to buy it. I just wish my library subscribed to Interweave Knits! I would much prefer to check that out!
Hey maybe they read your review and decided to pick up their game??? No, just luck? Can't wait for the review, maybe your mysterious commenter will rear their head again too!
I no longer can look at knitted sample photos without looking at the model's posture. I never would have known what to look for if it hadn't been for your marked up photos of the last issue.
I agree with Galad. Between you and Maggie Righetti's (I think I spelled that right) book with a chapter about reading poses, it's now the first thing I check rather than suggested yarn or sizes available....
Woohoo! Can't wait. Love your reviews.
ReplyDeleteThis issue isn't the travesty that the last issue was but it wasn't enough to make me want to renew my subscription.
ReplyDeleteBut I LIKED the drawings all over the pics!

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more insights :-)

ReplyDeleteOh yay! I look forward to tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you that when I was looking at it, I actually picked out the pics that you would draw all over.
