  4. Champagne at this stage may just slow you down....lets not draw it out any longer :-) I'm sure you'd only want to cast off once!!

  5. Ooooo! Can't wait to see it out of the sea urchin stage!

This time the verification word is bedoffed, either hat-doffing or pushing a cat off the bed, your choice.

  7. Yay you!!

Love the knitted dress - but what about a yarn using lycra/elastane - with either cotton or wool, or wool and cotton - that should spring back, fit properly and look fab - oh and not weigh as much!

Re the goob - stretching the rules is part of the fun stuff about growing up - that's streeeeetttching - not breaking!

  8. I remembered yesterday that I once owned a white angora sweater dress. I was 18 and had a svelte 18 year old body. I don't remember any saggy butt issues but then I was considerable thinner then and probably wasn't thinking about having a saggy butt at the time.

And a big WOOT on the cast off! Go Julie, Go Julie!

  10. Congrats. I haven't knit any lace as complex as yours but the stuff you knit is "my kind of crazy". Looking forward to the finished object shots.
