Not ONLY did she take up residence in my mother-in-law's suitcase, she then proceeded to hiss and spit at anyone who came near her, until I had to go in and drag her out, growing and snarling the whole way.
I had the following conversation with my mother this afteroon Mum: Lisa has a cat, just like yours! Me: Yeah? Mum: Yep! She was sleeping on my bed and when I went to pat her she stretched out just like yours! Me: Yah huh... Mum: And then I patted her, and she cuddled up to my hand.... And then the bugger bit me and mauled my hand! Just like yours!
Let's face it, we are heading into the "silly season" and most of us will be tempted at some time to climb into a small space and grumble at anyone who dares to come near. Sekhmet is just ahead of us two legged ones.Clever girl!
The cat...she wants to travel! Everyone gets the urge to see the world once in a while, right?
ReplyDeleteShe wanted to go home for a holiday with Grandma!

Apparently it's the season for cranky cats!
You could have left her in the suit case. Do you think the in-laws would have noticed before they got home?
