I always hated that coloring book rainbows always had four sections for color, but my box of crayons had all seven colors actually found in the rainbow. I don't use markers often, but when I do its usually only one to mark the beginning of the round or one on each side (2) to mark shaping that is not yet incorporated into the pattern.
