A beautiful saddle shoulder sweater for men. I have unravelled the yoke 3 times. The decreases and the marker placement just isn't making sense to me. Is anyone familiar with this pattern?circular lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00756679540399097107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21397483.post-73877739262094827962008-04-11T16:37:00.000-05:002008-04-11T16:37:00.000-05:00I've just been having an early morning re-read of ...I've just been having an early morning re-read of the seamless sweaters chapters of Knitting Without Tears and wondering why I didn't read along during the steeked jacket, especially the shoulder phase. i bought the book especially for that purpose and never once picked it up.

I really feel like pulling out some heavy yarn today and making a start on something like this, just to go over what I learned in the jacket, but without the fair isle, and make it all concrete. (the pattern nips in at the waist, and i don't, so it has taken more than the pattern calls for but i don't know how much.

somewhere in my future is a kauni-rainbow-and-white-merino fair isle-ish cardi.

thank you again

ellen in indyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
